Trip description
Join us on a day trip from Sarajevo to the stunning Herzegovina region, where we’ll explore the area’s top attractions in just one day. Our adventure begins with a scenic 1-hour drive to Konjic, where we’ll discover the Neretva River and Ottoman-era architecture. Next, we’ll travel to the picturesque Jablanicko Lake and the impressive Neretva Canyon—renowned as one of the most beautiful roads in Bosnia and Herzegovina—leading us to the stunning Kravica Waterfall. We’ll spend about an hour here, taking in the largest waterfall in Herzegovina.
Following this, we head to Pocitelj, a charming medieval stone town perched on a hill with a historic fortress and rich Ottoman heritage. Our next stop is Blagaj, where we’ll visit the spring of the Buna River—a remarkable geological feature—set against beautiful natural surroundings. Here, we’ll enjoy lunch amidst the serenity of nature. Finally, we will visit Mostar, where a guided tour will take you through the UNESCO-protected Old Town, including the iconic Old Bridge, the bustling bazaar, and the Koski Mehmet Pasha Mosque. After the tour, you’ll have some free time to explore on your own before we return to Sarajevo in the late afternoon.
